Counselor Camp
Small Group Reinforcement will be provided to students referred by their teacher for additional instruction for each theme of our Social Emotional Learning Curriculum. Our Social Emotional Learning Curriculum is taught in collaboration with teachers through our daily Morning Meeting and through scheduled counselor visits to the classroom.
Counselor Camp is:

Fun activities and games
-
For students that need additional instruction or reinforcement on a particular SEL Theme.

Groups of 5-8 students by grade level.

Held the first two weeks of the next theme (to re-teach the previous theme).

Meets for 3 sessions, 30 minutes each.
Note: All students referred for Counselor Camp will attend, unless attendance is an issue. Parent permission is not needed for Tier 2 Intervention, as this is part of our school's curriculum. Students may be referred for Counselor Camp for as many themes as apply.
